This track started off from a suggestion by Pierre Lussier that I write something called Woofer. I guess Pierre liked the word. I started the track at Paul Swoger-Ruston's place (where we had a demo recording set up) on our Fotex 8-track reel to reel. Meher Steinberg had lent me his keyboard and that's where I began with the original loop.
After the initial tracking the recording didn't develop until I went to Umbrella Studios and tracked/ re-tracked overdubs with Tamara Williamson at the board. We dumped the original tracks on to ADAT and continued from there. Craig Lapsley played drums along to the original loop and I redid my vocals and added some additional guitars (e-bow...etc...). This was then throw into Protools and I mixed at home.

The only thing that stops me from comparing this to Toots & The Maytals is the perfection and precision of the Delegators’ musicianship and Janet’s vocals. marc_ian
